  • Lizzie Wallace

    Lizzie began practicing Pilates in 2005 while living in Chicago and has been teaching since 2009. She received her comprehensive certification through Body Arts and Science International, a program that upholds the classical repertoire of Joseph Pilates while adding a contemporary spin. Lizzie enjoys customizing her classes to the needs of each individual, with an emphasis on precision and body awareness. Lizzie believes Pilates is for everyone! She lives in Park Ridge with her husband and two little boys.

  • Reed Evans

    Reed was introduced to PIlates while working as a performer and choreographing ski fashion shows in New York City. The benefits of Pilates were so great that she continued taking Pilates throughout her performing career. While living in California, she became an AMMA massage practitioner while going to university and, some years later, achieved her certification to teach both mat and equipment Pilates through the Physical/Mind Institute, teaching both one-on-one and classes at a Pilates studio at a physical therapy clinic. After moving to Chicago, she has continued to teach in a variety of settings - working with people ranging from young athletes to people in their 80's. Her background includes structural therapy training, yoga, ballet, and other forms of dance and exercise. She believes that a strong mind/body connection can help people lead healthy, resilient lives. Reed holds a M.A. in Teaching and a M.Sc. in Sustainability and has taught participatory process and sustainability seminars in higher education and for corporate clients. She is also an avid biker and swimmer. Thanks!

    Instructor

    Tracey has over 28 years of experience in the fitness and health industry. She has been practicing Pilates since 2003 and she possess several Pilates certification, She teaches peoples of all ages and fitness levels and she specializes in corrective exercise and post rehabilitation of injuries. She has worked for a Pilates education company traveling internationally teaching and certifying others in Pilates. She has co-presented at national fitness conventions and participated in several Pilates videos. She has also owned her own studio in NYC and has extensive experience teaching on all apparatus. Tracey has also been a certified Personal Trainer since 1991 and she holds certifications from American College of Sports Medicine as well as the National Academy of Sports Medicine. She has completed Masters level course work in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University as well as several advanced personal training programs. As a Group Exercise Instructor, Tracey teaches several different formats, including Spinning, step aerobics, muscle conditioning, Yoga and of course, Pilates, both on the mat and apparatus. Outside of training and Pilates, Tracey spends her free time studying the advancements in exercise, practicing yoga, boxing, cycling, rollerblading on the lakefront and spending time with family, friends and her dogs, Daisy, Spike and Poppy

    Lori started practicing Pilates over 20 years ago in an effort to alleviate issues from a spinal curvature. Before long she noticed her posture improved greatly (she stood a full inch taller!) and she moved more gracefully and felt stronger and in better shape. She completed teacher training through PhysicalMind Institute and taught at Power Pilates/Equinox and other fitness and rehabilitation studios. She looks forward to seeing you in class!

    Emily Faulkner was introduced to Pilates early on in dance classes and theater training. In 2003 she moved to Atlanta and found a studio that had group apparatus and mat classes. In 2008 she entered their teacher training program, based on Romana's classical style and was certified in early 2010. She taught group classes and private sessions in Atlanta for several years before moving back to Chicago. She loves the way pilates makes your whole body stronger and longer and looks forward to teaching others the flow of the exercises and how to move more. She is excited to be teaching at Club Pilates after having been a club member since the Park Ridge studio opened. She and her family live in Park Ridge and enjoy bike riding and brunching on the weekends.

    Erica has a background is in management. After becoming the Mom to 3 beautiful kids, making time for herself became a priority. She found a small studio close to her house and fell in love with working out. Fitness soon became her passion, expressing herself through her own personal weight loss journey. During the next few years she completed her Group Fitness certification through AFAA, multiple group fitness formats and then went on to get her Personal Training Certification through ISSA. Erica taught a variety of formats from Water Aerobics to HITT classes as well as Personal Training at several local gyms and studios. After years of teaching at this intensity her body couldn’t handle the constant high impact. This led her to Pilates! Pilates really took away the stress caused on her joints and helped strengthen and length her muscles. The pain was no longer there. Erica decided to take her love for management and fitness and combined them when accepting the General Manager position at the St. Charles location. She then went on to complete her 500 hour Comprehensive Pilates Certification. Erica currently over sees St. Charles, Park Ridge and Bloomingdale locations as well as teaches in Bloomingdale and Park Ridge, and subs when needed in St. Charles. Erica’s Classes are fun and challenging. You will get an amazing working out. Your abs won’t know what hit them. Between the workout and Erica’s quest to put a smile on your face, you’ll enjoy every minute of your time.

    Growing up a dancer in the Chicago suburbs, Allison (Al) has always loved the fitness industry. From "training" friends for their dance company auditions at as young as 10 years old, to becoming a certified a Pilates instructor at 23, Allison has always strived to share her love for fitness with those around her. ]Al fills her days with developing new class plans to cross-train her young dancers, and spice up her weekly Pilates classes, always bringing her knowledge of Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesology to the forefront. Her BFA in Dance from Western Michigan University allowed her to train with world-renowned choreographers and experience tastes of the professional world before graduating. Allison's passion and dreams are to spread fitness for every type of person to show how healthy living can not only transform your physical health, but also your mental and emotional. She is so excited to be joining the Club Pilates Park Ridge family after teaching for over a year with Club Pilates North Hills in Pittsburgh!

    Carrie has been in the fitness industry for 4 years, and loves sharing her passion with others. Her favorite thing is seeing the excitement on people’s faces as they do things they never thought physically possible.Carrie’s background is in HIIT workouts and Strength Training, but she’s very excited to add Pilates! What she loves most about Pilates is that it will benefit EVERY body! No matter what age or physical level you are, it will keep your body and mind strong for life!
